Winter at Howe Farm

The cattle are all inside now with the calves spained from the cows. We begin to feed silage to the sheep and as the winter progresses we feed ewe rolls to help with the growth of the unborn lambs. We calve a few cows in winter occasionally we have calved on Christmas day.
