Dating back to 1698 Howe farm is a traditional stone built Lakeland farmhouse, tastefully decorated with many original features, including oak paneling, staircase, doors, beams and log fires. Howe Farm offers traditional bed and breakfast holiday accommodation in the Lake District.

Lisa invites you to stay at Howe Farm, Hawkshead at the heart of the English Lake District for the most complete Lakeland Experience.

There truly is something for everyone based at Howe Farm. As you rise in the morning you are greeted by the sights and sounds of a genuine livestock farm.

Each room has a tray with complimentary shortbread, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Also included with each room is a hairdryer, soft clean towels and bathrobe. Across the landing each bedroom has it's own private shower, bath, wc, where quailty toiletries are available.

Allow Lisa to conjure a tantilising breakfast using home grown and local produce and serve in your private dining room amid Oak beams and original features, to really set you up for the day.

If you would like to eat in at Howe Farm, a two course dinner is available. Specialties include fresh fish and locally sourced meat. Feel free to bring your own wine and beer. Coffe and mints are served by a roaring fire in the lounge, and packed lunches are available on request.
